AND its goodbye from me... July 21st 2009 Its mid July and officially I've not been the president for a while but thought I'd give you one last news story for the year. After the AGM we had a vice president elected and a joint president, however due to circumstances beyond our control, the joint presidents both resigned. This means that until a new exec can be formed, Victroria (Tori), our Vice President elec is running the society alongside the Union. Of course this isn't the best situation for the society to be in so if you were a member last year and will be a student next year at the university then contact vicepresident@bcubums.com and let her know what you're interested in doing. I didn't run Bums on Seats on my own. I had a small dedicated team behind me, most of which are going through the transition from student to real adult! SO to Sally and Gem (Vice President and Secretray) who were my metaphorical rock and who like me are moving on from being students I want to say a massive THANKS to and wish them all the best with the future. To the rest of the committee from last year, again a massive thanks and to keep up the good work. SO enjoy Bums on Seats next year, it can only get bigger and better! So from me, goodbye! Jonny x Activity & Sports Awards April 28th 2009 This year the Sports Awards have become the Activity & Sports Awards. Because of this Bums on Seats will be attending and hoping to be nominated for and to win some awards!! AGM Agenda & Voting Process Now Online April 21st 2009 The Agenda has been written for this year's AGM and is available, for the first time ever, online for you to look at before the meeting. If you have anything to add to it or any questions about it please do not hesitate to email info@bcubums.com We will be electing the new executive committee at the AGM and the election and voting process is also available to look at.

AGM April 3rd 2009 We held a committee meeting earlier this week where we set the date for this year's AGM. At the AGM we will be needing to elect a new president, vice president and secretary as well as other important roles within the committtee. If you think you think you would like to stand for a role or want further information please email me at president@bcubums.com. The meeting is on Thursday 7th May at 7pm in Baker Hall.
